Solomon was born on September 11, 2024 along with eight other siblings who have now all been adopted. But this is a happy story! At Solomon's very first puppy exam, the veterinarian detected a significant heart murmur. Subsequent exam and ultrasound determined that Solomon had a congenital birth defect in his heart (PDA), but that surgically it could be repaired and Solomon could go on to live an absolutely normal life. Although this surgery was very expensive, we were the recipients of much financial support from those who saw his Facebook post. His surgery has been completed successfully and one month later our veterinarian has cleared him for adoption.

Solomon is a happy, playful puppy who has already been well socialized with other dogs and mastered house training in his foster home. He has had all of his vaccinations, is neutered and ready for adoption. 

Solomon's mother, Maisie Bell is a purebred beagle and was an absolutely wonderful mom! It is not certain who Solomon's daddy is, but it is LIKELY that his daddy was Bacon who is also a purebred beagle. All of the other puppies look very beagley and all have been adopted. One adopter did a DNA test and the results came back 100% beagle.
